What does bid rent theory suggest
It suggests that rents are higher in the CBD and decreased towards the suburbs (apart from secondary land value peaks) based on the idea of the CBD having more customers etc.
What is the burgess model
An urban land use model which divides cities into concentric circles from the CBD to the suburbs
What does the burgess model suggest
It suggests rents are the highest in the CBD and decrease, surrounding the city centre, but increase once near the suburbs
