Status and Usage:
What does clicking the line item redirects you to?
a. Clicking the line item redirects you to the appropriate page where you can perform edits or make changes.
Status and Usage: What does the Status notification provide?
Status: The notification inbox providing a list of tasks you must complete and past actions you have taken. This section includes search fields for your people and applications.
Status and Usage: What does the Usage notification provide?
Usage: Includes usage and application statistics for your company. You can expand this section to view Apps with Most Sign-Ins and Users with Most Okta Sign-Ins.
Status and Usage: Why can there be a discrepancy between the number of uniques sign-in shown in the application with Most Sign-Ins list and the number in the sidebar of the application usage report?
a. because the Dashboard counts unique logins per user in Okta, while the sidebar report counts unique logins per seat or account in the third-party application.
I. For example, the unique count in the sidebar of the app usage report might be higher than the dashboard count if one person has multiple accounts in a third party application.
Tasks: When are tasks generated?
Tasks are generated during import and provisioning events.
I. For example, an application provisioning error appears in the task list because it requires administrator assistance to resolve.
Tasks: What are some of the reasons why task might timeout and what should you do?
If you have several de-provisioning tasks, timeouts might occur when you try to load the Tasks page, so make sure you regularly mark tasks as completed.
I. You can select Mark All Complete on the Tasks page or click the Application accounts need de-provisioning link and mark specified tasks as complete.
II. If you do not want de-provisioning task alerts to appear on this page, select Don’t create de-provisioning tasks on the Tasks page.
