- Lightweight
- Low power
- Inexpensive
What are 3 disadvantages of portable LCD displays?
- Black levels are a challenge
- Requires a separate backlight (florescent, LED, etc)
- Lights are difficult to replace
What are the 3 LCD technologies?
- Twisted Nematic (TN) LCD
- In-Plane Switching LCD
- Vertical Alignment (VA) LCD

What LCD technology has fast response times but poor viewing angles?
