What are reversible sentences?

A

Sentences that can be reversed and still retain their semantic meanings are easier to process than sentences that don’t.
Example:
The horse saw the chicken
The chicken saw the horse

A

A

A phenomenon in english in which the stress in a sentence is moved away if it comes closer to another stressed syllable.
