What will you find in subpart A?

what must a TC, ETSO, design approval or relevant approval must have?
a system for collecting, investigating and analysis reports for failures, malfunctions, defects or other occurences which affect airworthiness.
when there is a deficency in the design, what must the TCH do?
investigate the reason for deficiency, and report the results to the agency along with the required action to rectify the deficiency.
what is an AD?
a document from the agency mandating action to be performed on an aircraft to restore aircraft safety standards where evidence suggests a compromise in safety.
when might the agency issue an AD?
- an unsafe condtion is determiend to exsist.
- the condition is likely exsist or develop in other aircraft
what must the relevant parties do when an AD has been issued?
- propose appropriate corrective action or inspections and submit for approval by the agency
- make that action available to all known operators
what information must an AD contain?
- the unsafe condition
- affected aircraft
- actions required
- time to comply
- date of entry into force
why must the design and productuon organisation collaborate effectively?
to ensure:
* satisfactoy coordination of design and production
* proper support of continued airworthiness
