Discuss the dual chain of command (Administrative/Operational) for operating forces
Op: President, SECDEF, commander assigned op forces
Admin: SECNAV, CNO, Op forces
Discuss Unified/Specified as it applies to the Operational COC
Unified- Composed of units from two or more services
Specific- only one service
Discuss Fleet Commanders as they apply to the Operational COC
Each are in charge of their own designated fleets. (CINCPACFLT, CINCLANTFLT, CINCUSNAVEUR)
Discuss Task Force Commanders as they apply to the Operational COC
Each are in charge of a subdivision, or task force, of a fleet.

Each are in charge of a subdivision of a Task Group, which is a subdivision of a task force.

CEO of the Navy; appointed by POTUS; authority to conduct all the affairs of the DoN
