  1. Being aware of and carrying out the duties set forth in this document
  2. Ensuring all subordinates under his/her s upervision comply with all orders, rules, regulations, practices and procedures of the department
  3. Promptly reporting any flagrant viola tions or dereliction of duty through the chain of command
  4. Understanding that failure to meet these responsibilities could be cause for disciplinary action

i. Assume responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of his/her assigned station/work area.
j. Report maintenance issues related to his/her station and/or work area in a timely manner.
