A
- Linear questions
- Circular questions ( search for links between problems)
- Strategic questions (more directive)
- Reflective questions (train family to generate by themselves new perceptions and behaviours)

A
For each: past (differences, (dis)agreement, explanation), present (“), future
- Definition of the problem
- Sequence of interaction
- Comparison/classification
- Interventive questions (only past, present, future)

Types of reflexive questions:
A
- Future-oriented (develop goals, catastrophic/hypothetical possibilities)
- Of normative rules (contrast with social norm or with evolutive norm)
- That clarify distinctions
- That interrupt the symptomatic sequence in session

Paradoxical prescriptions
A
Force something that can only occur in a spontaneous way
eg “I want you to want to study”

Keys and guidelines to systemic therapy
A
- think only in terms of relationship
- Note the “cue” words or repeated phrases of family and transpose these into questions
- If there is a sensitive issue and they hesitate to answer, ask about the opposite
- Have hypothesis give order to your questioning, not random
- Ask linear questions and use answer as base for more circular questions
