A
  • Future-oriented (develop goals, catastrophic/hypothetical possibilities)
  • Of normative rules (contrast with social norm or with evolutive norm)
  • That clarify distinctions
  • That interrupt the symptomatic sequence in session

  • think only in terms of relationship
  • Note the “cue” words or repeated phrases of family and transpose these into questions
  • If there is a sensitive issue and they hesitate to answer, ask about the opposite
  • Have hypothesis give order to your questioning, not random
  • Ask linear questions and use answer as base for more circular questions
