What investigations are needed for hereditary spherocytosis?
If diagnosis uncertain then EMA binding test
What is the management of polycythaemia rubra vera?
Aspirin to prevent clotting
Venesection to keep Hb in normal range
When is platelet transfusion indicated?
Platelet count <30 and clinically significant bleeding
What are investigation findings of multiple myeloma?
Bence Jones protein in urine
Monoclonal proteins in serum
Pepperpot skull on XR
Increased plasma cells in bone marrow
