A

29
Q

A

nor is he who does not love his brother

30
Q

A

for this is the message you have heard from the beginning

31
Q

A

that we should love one another

32
Q

A

not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother

33
Q

A

A

by this we know love

41
Q

A

because he laid down his life for us

42
Q

A

and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren

43
Q

Ὃς δʼ ἂν ἔχῃ τὸν βίον τοῦ κόσμου, καὶ θεωρῇ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ χρείαν ἔχοντα, καὶ κλείσῃ τὰ σπλάγχνα αὐτοῦ ἀπʼ αὐτοῦ, πῶς ἡ ἀγάπη τοῦ θεοῦ μένει ἐν αὐτῷ;

A

A

my little children

A

let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth

God is greater than our heart

50
Q

A

and knows all things

51

A

beloved, if our heart does not condemn us

52
Q

A

we have confidence toward God

A

A

as he gave us commandment

Q

A

now he who keeps his commandments abides in him and he in him

61
Q

A

and by this we know that he abides in us

62
Q

A

by the spirit whom he has given us
