What are the three stages?

A
  1. Acute: 8-10 days. Physical injury/infection
  2. Chronic: 2+ weeks. Pus formation, purulent discharge, incomplete wound healing
  3. Granulomatosus: Granulomas and serous inflammation

What are the three types?

A
  1. Fibrinous: Fibrin accumulates due to vascular permeability
  2. Purulent: Pus forms of necrotic cells.
  3. Ulceration: Local are of necrotic tissue sloughs off

Blood test, visual signs and symptoms, microscopic. Bronchoscopy for airways.
