What does the Main Deck Cargo Alert System?
The system flashes the cargo area lights for several seconds to alert occupants of the main cargo compartment to return to the flight deck.
Can the supernumerary oxygen mask get oxygen from the flight deck bottle?
No. A one-way check valve prevents oxygen flow from the flight deck bottle, to the
supernumerary oxygen masks, but allows oxygen flow to the flight deck oxygen
regulators from either bottle.
The portable oxygen cylinder assembly has the following:
- A shutoff valve
- A pressure gauge
- Disposable continuous flow mask
How many portable oxygen cylinder assemblies are there?
Two. One in the lavatory and
one next to left forward entry door supernumerary position.
