Who is Dionysian?
the god of the grape-harvest, winemaking and wine, of fertility, ritual madness, religious ecstasy and theatre in ancient Greek religion and myth.

Sophicles Antigone, what is the premise?
Creon all about laws and the polies.
Moral of story - Creon was wrong to not follow the divine rules. They also say that wisdom is necessary for happiness. & if the gods are wrong, you’re going to pay.
Plays like Antigone explore what happens when religious values, and civic values clash: a vital issue for all citizens of the polis.
