Illegal commands should be disabled. If possible use selection bc it is less error prone

User menus, comboboyes and generic commands wher possible. All needed information should be visible.

- Restate the user input when error occurs
- Give constructive help
- Hide technical details

- Use minimalistic simple design

Includes all effects the use of an interface has on the user

A usability Engineering finds problems in the user interface design
What is Usability Testing
Watching a user interact with the user interface of the system
