What is the difference between a defined Process Control Model and an Empirical Process Control Model
DPCM: Deviations are seen as errosrs that need to be corrected
EPCM: Deviations, errors and failures are seen as opportunites that need to be investigated.

What is a Defined Process Control Model
- Requires that every piece of work is completely understood
- Same inputs => Same outputs
What is an Empirical Process Control Model
- Imperfectly defined process, not all pieces of work are completely understood
- Control and risk management is exercised through frequent inspection
When should the Empirical Process Model be applied?
- Frequent Change
- Change of Requirement, technology, organization, etc.
