• Restricted Access Areas locked
• Classified material in spaces which visitors will enter shall be removed
• Visitors must follow planned route
• Sentries to guide guests
• Gear neatly stowed and out of sight
• OOD walk the ship prior to ensure all of the above

USS. OOD walks the routes and briefs sentries.

How are tours conducted?

Either tour guides OR sentries posted along the route and in all the spaces they will be going.

Do visitors need to surrender phones and cameras?

At the CO’s discretion. Normally no because the route is sanitized and COMSEC equipment is off.

What types of gifts can you accept?

• Incidental gift of minimal value such as a mug, pen, T-shirt, cultural article, etc.
• Nothing that would look bad in a news article
