first fundamental rule, have alot of patience

when i went to school, the teaching that they give you in the schools, is not wrong, but in my opinion, its missing something

they teach you all the grammatical rules, they make you read, they make you maybe fill our some little quizzes, things like this
loro ti insegnano tutte le regola gramatticali, ti fanno leggere, ti fanno magari compilare dei piccoli quiz, cose di questo tipo
but im my opinion, the thing they dont make you do, or if they make you do they make you do it really too little often is to speak the language
ma a mio avviso la cosa che non fanno fare, o se la fanno fare la fanno fare veramente troppo poco spesso è parlare la lingua
at a certain point you have to speak it because if the teacher would ask you some questions you would not understand a chip
ad un certo punto devi parlarlo perche se l’insegnante ti facevi delle domande tu non capicvi una cippa
being that I have foreign parents however, the fact of not knowing english and to feel somehow not complete

this book explains to you really all the gramattical rules from a to z
questo libro ti spiega veramente tutte le regole gramatticali dalla a alla z (zeta)
but what is the nice thing is that it explains it to you in the english language therefore already you are used to also in studying
pero qual è la cosa bella è che te lo spiega in lingua inglese quindi gia tu sei abituato anche nello studio

there are some little things in the english language that if we respect them with regard to the pronounciation and the phonetics we can be more facilitated
ci sono delle piccolezze nella lingua inglese che se noi le rispettiamo per quanto riguarda la pronuncia e la fonetica possiamo essere molto piu facilitati
in italy for example, i found alot that people dont manage to distinguish the TH
in italia per esempio ho riscontrato tantissimo che le persone non riescono a distinguere il T-H tee akka

that then also this is a sterotype that really in my opinion should be debunked a bit because italians dont speak english like that
che poi anche questo è uno stereotipo che veramente secondo me bisognerebbe un po sfatarlo perche gli italiani non parlano inglese cosi
this is a thing that in my opinion is a bit american

then they make fun of us because we dont know english but they dont know any other language a part from english because everywhere they go,
poi ci prendono in giro perche noi non sappiamo l’inglese ma loro non sanno nessun’altra lingua a parte d’inglese perche loro dovunque vanno
i know some colleagues that are a part obviously of the entertainment industry

theyve been here for far beyond 4 5 6 7 years and they still speak with this accent like this that they cant manage to say a thing
sono qui da ben oltre quattro cinque sei sette anni e ancora parlano con questo accento cosi che non riescono a dire una cosa
im not saying that theyre all like that but there are tons of them that live in italy
non sto dicendo che sono tutti cosi pero ci sono tantissimi che vivono in italia

comunque ritornando a dei trucchi che posso darti, allora inanzitutto, forza di volonta, seconda cosa, compravi il libro

forse sono anche li delle regole fonetiche che si possono studiare pero è ovvio che sentirle, proprio sentirle con le nostre orrechie è molto piu efficace

a group of people that spoke only and exclusively in english therefore if i wanted to participate in their conversations, and not be excluded from their things, i had to speak somehow
una comitiva/un gruppo di persone che parlavano solo e esclusivamente in inglese, quindi se volevo essere partecipe delle loro conversazioni e non essere esclusa dalle loro cose, dovevo parlare in qualche modo
instead of being attentive to what the actors are staying, we are here to read in italian what they are saying
invece di essere attento a quello che gli attori dicono, siamo li a leggere in italiano, quello che stanno dicendo

I did like this for almost a year, a year and a half. at the beginning i didnt understand anything. in fact i started to watch movies that i already knew or tv seres that i already knew
io ho fatto cosi per quasi un anno, un anno e mezzo, all’inizio non capivo niente, infatti ho iniziato a guardare dei film che gia conoscevo o delle serie tv che gia conoscevo
really because atleast a bit, the meaning of the words I understood it

then after a bit, i started to watch new things and it was difficile because obviously not knowing the plot

I remember that when i would watch movies, but also youtube helped me so much, because when i started to get close to this world i started watching makeup tutorials of the gurus that today are very big

per avere una qualcosa in piu pero quello che ti aiuta tantissimo e parlarlo e ascoltarlo

in the sense that i watch all my series in the original language meanwhile because i find that there are in some tv series and in some movies , some characters that lose a bit their own personality when it is applied an italian dubbing
nel senso che guardo tutte le mie serie tv in lingua originale intanto perche trovo che ci siano in alcuni serie tv e in alcuni film, dei personaggi che perdono un po’ la proprio personalità quando viene applicato un doppiaggio italiano
even if i am a lover of italian dubbing because there are so many and i find that some italian voice actors are in come casis even better than the american ones
anche se sono un amante del doppiaggio italian perche ci sono tantissimi, e trovo che alcuni doppiatori italiani sono in alcuni casi anche meglio di quelli americani
