ILP INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM
Federally funded and state and administer program, which assist eligible used to live independently. Services are available to all eligible, 16 to 21-year-olds Foster and former foster youth.
- Core services include education, career development, mentorship, daily living skills, financial resources, housing information
EFC Extended foster care program
Extended foster care beyond their 18th birthday and continue quarter section until 21 years of age, as a non-minor dependent.
- must meet at least one eligibility for EFC program:: completing high school or equivalent GED, enrolled in college community college or vocational education program, participating in a program to remove barriers of employment, employed at least 80 hours per month, is enabled to do one of the following because of a medical condition.
Additional program/service
- ILP participation incentive payments, transitional age youth services, scholarships, ILP aftercare orientation, ILP follow-up services,
- emancipated youth stipend; transitional housing placement program, transitional housing program, transitional housing program plus foster care, emancipation ombudsman’s office services
