A check of this database can reveal if a family is currently receiving public assistance and if the family is known to the database, the last known address and the identity of family members.

A check of this database will determine if a subject is reported to have been the perpetrator or a victim of child abuse or neglect.
WCMIS welfare case management information system
LA county welfare case identification and index system.
Used to record the eligibility status for all welfare and children service applicants and recipients and to assign state identification numbers to DCFS cases and referrals. A clearance is used to determine if an individual has a history with DCFS and or to locate siblings of a child who may have also been in the system.
