How is yoghurt made?
A
Milk contains a sugar called lactose, yoghurt is made by adding bacteria to sterilised milk

How does the yoghurt bacteria turn milk into yoghurt?
A
Yoghurt bac added to sterilised milk and converts lactose into lactic acid by fermentation. Increased activity sours and thickens the milk turning it into yoghurt

What changes occur during the making of yoghurt?
A
The number of bacteria increases and the PH decreases

How is milk sterilised before yoghurt bacteria added?
A
Boiled then added in an incubator to keep warm
