Katate Hazushi Ichi
Same side grab. Twist forearm and bring your elbow to uke’s
Katate Hazushi Ni
Uke grabs opposite wrist. Step across and in towards uke. Similar to Katate Hazuchi Ichi with wrist movement and elbow. Make the small of the wrist point towards uke’s thumb and fingers.
Ryo Te Hazushi
Uke grabs both forearms. Place one hand (the hand that is opposite the front foot) over your other hand and lift the elbow up to uke’s elbow.
Moro Te Hazushi
Uke grabs one forearm. Bring free hand to the grabbed hand. Cover the hand and bring the captured hand’s elbow towards the opponents elbow. Escape and move back.
Momiji Hazushi
Uke chokes you with both hands. Raise both hands straight up toward the ceiling, making sure contact is made after your elbows pass opponents arms. Bring arms down and push uke back.
Ryo Eri Hazushi
Uke grabs your lapels. Place one hand over one opponent’s hand. The other hand goes inside of opponents other hand. Rotate opponents arm through the elbow. Once the arm is rotated, bring arm down with the body in a coordinated lowered motion.
Yubi Tori Hazushi
Move arm to low elbow against opponent’s torso. Push fingers over towards the top of the same side shoulder
Yubi Tori
Shift body off the line, same side grab. Middle finger and pointer finger goes between thumb. Thumb goes on the back of the hand. Thumb slides up, pushes uke’s finger against the pakm, Slide ginger in finger lock.
Moro Yubi Tori
As opponent reaches, shift body towards direction of grab. Opposite hand grabs fingers, same side hand keeps arm in contact with uke’s arm. Extend finger, lower body into strong stance as you push uke’s elbow upward.
Katate Tori
As opponent reaches, place thumb on the back of the hand and rotate the wrist outward.
Ryo Te Tori
As uke reaches, place both thumbs on the back of both of uke’s wrists and rotate them outward.
Akushi Kote Tori
From a hand shake, peel the thumb with your left hand and rotate uke’s hand in a katate tori wristlock.
Akushu Ude Tori
From a handshake. With your left arm, reach over uke’s extended right arm and grab your own left lapel and apply armbar.
Akushu Kote Maki Tori
From hand shake, peel the thumb with free hand and rotate uke’s hand in tori wrist lock, then reach under uke’s extended arm with free hand and grab the wrist of the hand you have locked. Bring the elbow under your own arm to solidify lock.
Imon Tori
As opponent pushes against the chest, place hand on the back of uke’s hand. Ring the other hand over and take a step back and extend the back leg and lower your torso.
Te Kubi Tori Ichi
Uke grabs the same side wrist. The extended arm rotates away from the body. Create the kazushi while uke’s arm is rotated, perform tori wristlock with an arm bar.
Te Kubi Tori Ni
Uke grabs your opposite wrist.Rotate extended arm inside and up. Escape grasp while applying tori wristock, use formerly grabbed hand to add extra control.
Ryo Eri Tori
Uke grabs both your lapels. Place one hand over one of uke’s hands. With the free hand, hit your knuckle against the hand you aren’t holding. Free that hand’s grasp. Then with free hand reach over the hand that still has contact with the lapel. Grab the hand with the opposite side, rotate wrist into a tori lock. Then with both arms, raise the wrist lock and apply pressure downwards.
Kubi Nuki Shime
From headlock, grab uke’s belt from the back. Then with of the hands holding the headlock with a knuckle strike. Grab the wrist of your opponent’s arm on the side you are on. Push the belt down and out, keeping constant contact to take uke’s balance. Lift head up and as you extend the arm towards their back, you slip your head out. Then direct arm in while maintain downward pressure on uke’s belt.
Hagai Shime
As the opponent punches, move in and deflect punch wit hthe outside hand. As you move in, use the inside arm and place it on the shoulder. Swing body around place your free arm under uke’s free arm. Bring elbows down as you turn opponent’s head and press down.
