Russia took Germany and split it between the west (US) and the east (Russia). Berlin had also been split into four between the west and east. Russia also took Poland and made a new map for it, Polands government had also been made communist. It was agreed upon that all countries can freely elect for either a communist or capitalist government.

The spread of communism was falling over Europe, meaning that US will not be able to help communist countries.

The US came out of the war strong and was not as effected by Germany in comparison to the USSR, which was weakened by Germany and heavily impacted.
