A

thick waxy cuticle=stops uncontrolled evaporation through leaf cells, ext roots= max water uptake eg marram grass cacti

small leaf sa= less evap,Store water in stem=Fleshy and swollen source of water eg cacti

sunken stomata (in pits), rolled leaves and ,stomatal hairs (trichomes)= maintains humid air around stomata (decreased sy gradient)
