A

The war was popular and everyone was patriotic as they thought it would end quickly

What were Germans like during the war in 1915-1916

A

Protestors demanded an end to war. Demonstrations increased from 500-10000 people. War weariness increased. On the front line soldiers were worn down by bombs, gas and machine gun fire.

How was Germanys political state at the end of the war

A

Germany was closer to defeat. Army general Ludendorff stated Germany could not win the war. He advised the kaiser to make the country more democratic so the winning Allies would treat Germany more fairly.

What did the kaiser do as a result of Ludendorffs advice

A

The kaiser allowed the political parties to form a new government and transferred some of his powers to the Reichstags, and transferred some of his powers to the reichstag.
