Q

How did Nationalism affect the War?

A

Slavic peoples in Bosnia Herzegovina no longer wanted to be a part of Austro-Hungary, but to be a part of Serbia. Then a Serbian nationalist terrorist group called the Black Hand sent groups to assassinate the heir to the throne but failed, but later that day a Serbian nationalist assassinated him and his wife. This way, nationalism directly led to the War.
