20-30 People; First tools show up made of bone or wood; likely first signs of language appear; clothing, fires and caves to protect from cold

Agricultural Revolution; 11,000 years ago
What happened during the Neolithic Age?
People learned how to farm; began to Domesticate Animals
What good came out of agriculture?
Surplus of food which allowed more free time; free time allowed for specialization; specialization created new things to work on; this led to science, art, math, government, literature, and everything else that isn’t feeding ourselves

What is the Feudal System?
Peasants would farm and give the food to the king and lords, and the lords and the kings would offer protect to the peasants
What were some problems with the feudal system?
Lords can get a great deal of power and can start to rule in place of Emperor

Animism; Shang Di Chief God; only king could talk to Shang Di; prayed to ancestors’ spirits for good luck
