What actions can be taken if a WEL is exceeded?
Check control measures
Ensure good practice is applied
Consider use of PPE
Devise and implement immediate action programme to reinforce control measures
Further measurements to ensure remedial action taken has been effective

Carbon dioxide
Ethanol(found in alcohol beverages)
Carbon monoxide

What limits must exposure not exceed?
30 minutes above the WEL in any one day
3 times the WEL limit
The short term exposure limit must not
Exceed the WEL for more than 15 minutes
Be more than 4 times a day
Have less than 60 minutes between exposures
