sexual assault response coordinator are available at every district throughout the coast guard to assist victims in sexual assault. SARC SHALL BE NOTIFIED ON BOTH RESTRICTED AND UNRESTRICTED CASES.
what is an unrestricted report and who is notified? why is a military protective order advised for both the victim and accuser?
A victim’s disclosure to a SARC, VA, or HCP is not the same
as “making a report.” Victims who disclose a sexual assault to
a SARC, VA, or HCP, and are informed of their reporting options,
may decide not to make a report of sexual assault at that time.

Helps members who are retiring with TAPS, job search, resume, Spouse employment assistance program.

Additional members may be added as necessary. 911 if the member is unattainable. Make sure my command cadre is notified. Supervisors should document all actions leading to the CIT, because it may become necessary to use them to support subsequent disciplinary actions.
what if it were Potentially Violent or Threatening Situation?
Commanders and Supervisors should gather available relevant facts surrounding the incident and provide this information to the CIT at the first meeting.
If An Employee’s Violent Conduct Occurred Off-duty?
If you learned of the conduct through police reports, the media, or other sources, discuss with HR and Security whether the conduct requires an agency action to restrict the employee from the worksite, or if any other corrective or precautionary measures are warranted.
what would you do if your member made threatening remarks towards the crew?
Try to calm the member down, find out what bothering him use LEAPS. If that doesn’t work notify Security, HR, and/or local law enforcement authorities can help you plan your actions and also inform the target(s) of the threats. They can also help you take steps to ensure the safety of employees at work.
How would you make sure your unit is COPING WITH THREATS & VIOLENCE?

For someone with a weapon: - Stay calm. - Maintain eye contact. - Stall for time. - Keep talking--but follow instructions from the person with the weapon. - Don't risk harm to yourself or others. - Don't ever try to be a hero. - Never try to grab a weapon. - Watch for a safe chance to escape.

UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 892(1) carries a maximum punishment of a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 2 years
Is a sexual assault and/ or a domestic violence victim required to talk to the following? Medical, CGIS, VA or legal?
The answer is yes a restrictive report allows a domestic violence to confidentially disclose information to the (FAS, VA or Meddical, not cgis) and receive medical attention w/o an investigation started. Victim can turn into un-restricted up to 12 months.
