What is role overload an interference?
One of the most significant challenges facing individuals and families is role overload, the feeling of having too much to do in too little time. When work demands encroach upon family responsibilities, or vice versa.
What is gendered division of labour?
Historically, a clear division of labour existed within families, with women primarily responsible for household and childcree duties, while men were breadwinners.However, societal changes, including the increased participation of women in the workforce, have led to a shift toward more egalitarian roles. While this shift has brought about positive changes, it has also created new challenges, as couples struggle to balance work and family responsibilities more equitably.
