What is the purpose of the Words of Mormon as a historical account?
The book serves as a bridge between the small plates of Nephi (1 Nephi-Omni) and why they needed to be included with the other sacred writings and Mormons abridgment of the large plates of Nephi. The Words of Mormon also provides valuable insight into why King Benjamin had such great influence with his people.

Quote Words of Mormon 1:7
7 And I do this for a wise purpose; for thus it whispereth me, according to the workings of the Spirit of the Lord which is in me. And now, I do not know all things; but the Lord knoweth all things which are to come; wherefore, he worketh in me to do according to his will.
Describe a time when you acted on a prompting from the Holy Ghost even though you may not have understood the prompting at first. Remember that as you are faithful
- When we moved to Prescott even though we thought housing was too expensive and Kenneth would have to open a private practice rather than having an employees position.
- When we terminated our contract with Biddle Outdoor Center even though we were scared and did not know if we had a right to legally.
- We left our house in Missouri with the promise that God would take care of it even though I did not know how (and I imagined every possible thing that could go wrong) and He did!!!
