How do you ensure accuracy and precision of results in a lab?
To ensure accuracy and precision high must follow strict protocols and adhere to good laboratory practice
Firstly make sure all equipment is calibrated and maintained regularly according to the manufacturer’s guidelines —> this helps minimise errors due to improper functioning of equipment or faulty equipment
Maintain detailed records of my work including any deviations from the protocol. This allows me to identify potential sources of errors and address them appropriately
Collaborating with colleagues, regularly discussing findings with peers and seeking their input can help identify discrepancies and improve the overall quality of data
