what is natural wood
natural wood is wood that is taken straight from the tree like hardwood and softwood
what is manmade wood
wood that is processed
what is hardwood
hardwood comes from deciduous trees. they grow slowly which makes the wood dense and expensive. the grain lines will be very close together.
what is softwood
softwood comes from evergreen trees. They grow quickly which makes the wood less dense and cheaper. The grain lines will be far apart.
what is manufacture boards
manufacture boards are made from leftover pieces of wood mixed with glue and compressed into large sheets.
advantages of manufacture boards
comes in large sheets
no natural defects
what is veneer
veneer is a thin layers of natural wood glue to manufacture boards to improve appearance.

It is cheep but not strong, Usually Veneered with a hardwood on Plastic
