They became more independent and had more freedom compared to before

they got given the vote meaning they got more power in society.

Why did not all women benefit from the changes in 1920’s?
A
life only changed for white, middle or upper class women as poor people/ ethnic minorities did not have the money to afford the lifestyle of a flapper
