Cruciform plate as lots of little nerves
(these nerves join to make the olfactory bulb and tracts)

Optic canal
Where does the oculomotor nerve leave the cranial cavity?
Superior orbital fissure
Where does the trochlear nerve leave the cranial cavity?
Superior orbital fissure
Where does the abducens nerve leave the cranial cavity?
Superior orbital fissure
Where does the trigeminal nerve leave the cranial cavity?
Ophthalmic branch = superior orbital fissure
Maxillary branch = foramen ovale
Mandibular branch = foramen rotundum
Where does the facial nerve leave the cranial cavity?
Internal acoustic meatus
Where does the vestibulocochlear nerve exit the cranial cavity?
Internal acoustic meatus
Where do the glossopharyngeal, vagus and accessory nerves leave the cranial cavity?
Jugular foramen
Where does the hypoglossal nerve leave the cranial cavity?
Hypoglossal canal
What nerves exit the cranial cavity via the superior orbital fissure?
CNIII, CNIV, CNV division 1, CNVI
(oculomotor, trochlear, ophthalmic division, abducens)
What nerves exit the cranial cavity via the internal acoustic meatus?
facial and vestibulocochlear (7 and 8)
