Left Internal Mammary Artery and Right Internal Mammary Artery. They come off the subclavian arteries and sit against the chest wall anteriorly.

- return blood in the leg can build up
- patient has two major surgical scars
- vein grafts only last approx. 10 years
- stenting and ballooning the graft is difficult
