17
Q

Where is the 1B pump located?

A

Port side in the HSC between pumps 1 and 1A.

18
Q

What do you do if you cant get the tow bar off after a move?

A

Ensure the tow bar is centered. if it still wont come off call the Airframers.

19
Q

Where is the SAR bar usually stowed in the aircraft?

A

In the rack by the main cabin door, on the wall or under the galley seat.

20
Q

Can you move the aircraft without a SAR bar?

A

Yes, but the main cabin door must be closed.

21
Q

Can you move the aircraft with the tie down chains or chocks hanging off the aircraft?

A

No

22
Q

Can you move the aircraft without a pilot seat?

A

No

23
Q

What needs to be done when an aircraft is put into the hangar?

A

Open the APU safety switch door and switch it to safety mode, drip pans placed under each engine and connect the grounding wire.

24
Q

Can you tow the plane with the APU running?

A

Yes, but its not recommended because of the noise levels.

25
Q

How fast can you tow an aircraft?

A

No faster than the slowest walker.

26
Q

Why do you put the APU safety switch into the safe position when the plane is in the hangar?

A

To disarm the HRD bottle, lock the intake/exhaust doors in place and to disable the APU from starting.
