Sea breeze
Is when warm air rises and cold air sinks. During the day
Land breeze

Coriolus Effect
The wind at the end of the Earth causes the northern hemisphere to deflect to the right while objects in the Southern Hemisphere deflects to the left.
Jet stream
A band of very fast moving wind caused by difference in temperatures.
Trade winds
Winds that blow towards the equator
Doldrums
A spot near the equator where there are very few winds.
Polar Easterlies
Winds that are found near the poles
Prevailing wind
Are winds that blow away from the equator.
Ocean currents
The Gulf Stream is an ocean current that brings warmer temps to the eastern coast of the us. Found in the Atlantic Ocean.
El Niño
Band of warm ocean temps turns. That develop off the coast of South America
. Can cause droughts warms up climates
La Niña
Band of cold ocean temps tires that develop off the coast of South America
. Can cause more precipitation cools down climates
