Q

What causes the wind?

A
  • The sun warms the Earth’s surface and the atmosphere
  • Some parts of the Earth receive direct rays from the sun all year and are very warm.
  • Other areas receive indirect rays so they’re colder.
  • Warm air rises and cold air replaces the warm air.
  • This makes wind blow
