- some carefully planned re-introduction and translocation programs that address a true ecological need
- permits required for capture, repossession, and sampling of wildlife:
-including research, hunting, fishing, and wildlife rehab

A
- interstate movement is restricted and requires a health certificate and/or pathogen testing
- federal oversight for some species
- regulations depend on state of origin and destination, as well as any state passed through en route
