A

After Chinese reinforcement recaptured Seuol he wanted to use the atom bomb on china and Truman dismissed him for insubordanation. Truman went back to a policy of containment.

It stated the US Govt werent being harsh enough and McCarthy exploited and fermented the anti communist anxieties at the time.

They saw Trumans policy as too expensive and prolonging the cold war (ineffective)
