13th July, Northumberland sets out with 2000 troops to defeat Mary. He feared leaving London but there was no one else he could send
15th July, PC in the tower for protection but did not send the reinforcements that Northumberland requested
17th, Northumberlands forces started to desert and refused to go further as they had heard rumours that Mary had 30,000 in her camp. Northumberland retreated
20th July, Northumberland arrested in cambridge by Arundel

12th July, Reports arrived from East Anglia of noble families supporting Mary
15th July, Mary had moved to Framlingham Castle with large numbers of supporters declaring for her
19th July, Mary’s forces numbered 20,000. In London almost all of the PC left the Tower and said they had fallen into error. LJGs father announced to his daughter that she was proclaimed she was no longer queen. Mary was proclaimed queen in London and people celebrated
3rd August, Mary entered London to great celebration
22nd August, Northumberland executed
