This may be village level Meursault, but you might not be able to tell the difference. Roulot not only has some of the best parcels with quite a few old vines in Meursault, but his wines all speak to the nature of the minerality in the soils.

comes just from the upper part of the vineyard. Ravishing lemon and lime with a classy mineral, very slightly reductive nose in the gunflint style.
There is huge density right from the start of the palate then a little touch of bitters, a little flesh from the oak, almost opulent but it knows better!

All the Jobard wines are aged in barrel and spend a lengthy period of time sur lie in their cellars in Meursault.

The grapes are harvested from a few different parcels. Jean-Louis uses oak sparingly. 15% of which is new.

Grapes harvested by hand and carried to the winery before being pneumatically pressed at low pressure. The must then settles for a period of 1-2 days before being gravity-fed to barrels for fermentation and maturation.
