Schemes such as the RAD, the German Labour Front and the Four Year Plan significantly reduced unemployment rates and ensured a fixed income for the previously unemployed. Unemployment Relief Act 1933 created jobs. 100,000 people received work from building 7000km of Autobahn. Almost 45,000 officials were also employed in the RAD
