myocardial infarction
A
epigastric pain can be attributed to GI source and pain is often said to be relieved by GI remedies e.g. antacids
tightness of chest can be attributed to MSK pathology
differential diagnoses:
- COPD exacerbation
- acute gastritis
- asthma
- heart infection e.g. myocarditis
- pneumonia

A
- oesophageal spasm/ rupture
- costochondritis (inflamed cartilage between ribs and sternum)
- herpes zoster (shingles) can present with chest pain before skin presentations
- pneumonia with pleural involvement
- anxiety

- atrial flutter
- tachycardia- lots of types:
- atrial
- AV nodal re-entry
- multifocal atrial
- paroxysmal supraventricular
- Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome

A
cellulitis (red, warm, tender leg)- they can also manifest into each other
- superficial thrombophlebitis (superficial as opposed to deep vein)
