What is Behaviour
an observable action made by a living person or animal.
What is a mental process
an experience that occurs within an individual when you are thinking or feeling, that cannot be directly observed.
give an example of a behaviour and mental process relationship:
You feel cold (mental process) so you put on your jumper (behaviour).
What is the difference between Psychology and Psychiatry

- study the behaviour + mental illnesses
- diagnose and treat mental illness
Differences
- PSYCHIATRISTS can prescribe medication ( Medical degree)
- PSYCHOLOGISTS cant prescribe meds ( doctors degree)
