What is fitness for purpose
Fitness for purpose is finding out if the function, style and design fulfil its purpose
What is materials/ techniques
Materials/techniques is finding out what materials have been used in the design and why, how well the materials fit the function of the design and finding out if it is handmade or mass produced
What is target market/ audience
This is finding out who you aiming your design at- this is usually a certain group of people that will use/ buy the design who are the clients
What is visual impact/ style
This is describing the overall style/ look of the design
What is function
The function is finding out the purpose of the design and what it is designed to do, also finding out how well it serves its purpose as a design
What is style
This means talking about the different types of art they have used such as impressionist or realistic
What is colour
This means describing the colours in the painting and where the colours is and how this effects the painting
What is mood and atmosphere
This is when you describe the felling/ vibe you get when you look at the painting or you describe what type of feeling you believe the artist was trying to achieve
What is form
Form refers to the way that a 3D effect is created using tone and other techniques, talk about where you found the form and how this effects the painting
What is line
Line is describing the types of lines being used in a painting where the certain line is used and what effect it gives the painting
What is tone
This means you have to talk about the light and dark parts on the painting where it is found and what effect it gives the painting
What is composition
This means describing how the painting is laid out, talking about what is eye catching and what techniques have been used to create this using the what where why structure
What is subject matter
Subject matter is describing what items have been painted and why techniques have been used to create this effect
What is texture
You must talk about what type of texture has been created using the what where why structure
