A system is a collection of parts which together perform a function.
System Diagrams are often used and electronics and are made using 3 parts INPUT PROCESS and OUTPUT

Transducers- Something that converts one type of energy to another e.g kinetic to electrical energy. Can also be an output
Sensors- Light/Heat/Infra Red

Comparators- analogue to digital signals
Amplifier- Boost the output signal so that it is powerful enough to drive the components
