What are the 4 categories of Turbulence?
Light, moderate, severe, and extreme.
What is ‘anticipated turbulence’ and who notifies us of this?
When FA’s are notified by the PIC/ (captain) of turbulence.
What is the command for ‘rapid decompression’?
Fasten seat belts, grab masks (3xs)
What is the command for a ‘planned evacuation’?
Brace, Brace, Brace, stay down (3xs)
When does decompression occur?
When cabin altitude exceeds/expected to exceed 14,000 feet
What are the 4 types of evacuations?
Unplanned, planned, land ( ground), and ditching (water)
Where is everyone during an evacuation?
Lead( L1/R1/ FWD Galley/Fwd Lav); 1st jr ( L2/R2 row 1 to overwing); 2nd jr Overwing to Aft/ Aft galley and Lav); Jr FA’s in decreasing order of senority
What is the chain of command?
PIC, Lead, 1st jr, 2nd Jr, 3rd Jr, and all other jr FA’s in decreasing order of senority
What is PASS?
Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep
