What needs to be on a CPL?

2. basic written description of the casket including the exterior shell, exterior trim, and interior fabric
3. may add additional info
4. caskets and alternative containers need to be on the same list
5. if item is out of stock, no need to make new list, just let consumer know out of stock
6. caskets can be listed in any order (but price order comes first)
7. if same casket comes in a variety of colors or interiors you only need to make that distinction on the CPL and not add each different casket on CPL.

1. must present a CPL to anyone who wants to talk about casket or alternative container prices. this is a triggering event
2. do not need to give the consumer a CPL to keep like the GPL
3. don’t need to offer them a list before you show the caskets
4. individual price cards on the caskets, but must have a CPL
5. can display caskets any way you’d like
6. don’t need to display caskets at all (use of photos) however all information is required on paper into the photo display
7. may use suppliers selection room, but remember to give them CPL before they enter the room or whenever you start talking numbers
8. anyone who wants to modify the pre-need contract needs to be presented with a CPL
