Why are personality disorders generally not diagnosed until 18?
Personality not fully developed enough until 18. Symptoms must be present for at least a year to diagnose under 18.

What developmental milestones might be considered important in clinical child psychology?

Ethical and legal responsibilities (Duty of Care and mandatory reporting); working holistically (school, daycare, grandparents, siblings)
In terms of listening skills, what additional factors would a psychologist need to consider when working with children?
Shorter attention span, appropriate references and language, clarity, Not ‘leading’ the child.
